I edited this and now I’ve got some pictures. Corocoro magazine is always right about Pokemon games so this info is 100% true. the pic to the left is Dialga and Palkia at Mt. Coronet being awakened by Cyrus but Giratina rises up. So it looks like Dialga and Palkia are going to be in Platinum. Boy, didn’t see that one coming. (Sarcastic) To the right, the battle has inverted colors. It’s called the invert universe. (Kinda catchy.) Those pictures look awesome! Look at Giratina Origin Form. COOL! I’ll add more soon, so keep checking back. There’s been a mistake. Apparently, it’s Shaymin Sky form and Regigigas ice form. That makes more sense because the movie is called Giratina and the bouqet of the sky- Shaymin and Regigigas guards the Snowpoint temple. Snow=Ice. The game will feature Giratina as its mascot and introduce its Origin Form, as seen in Giratina and the Bouqet of the Sky: Shaymin. Its initial forme is referred to as its Another Form. The new storyline will involve a disturbance atop Mt. Coronet, as a portal to the “Ruined World is opened and Sinnoh’s climate becomes colder. The trainers have been given new outfits to suit the colder climate. The legendary Pokémon Shaymin, which will be distributed as part of admitance to the film Giratina and the bouqet of the Sky: Shaymin, will also have an alternate forme in Platinum, known as its “Sky Form, a dual Grass and Flying-type Pokémon. When traded from Diamond or Pearl to Platinum Shaymin will transform from its regular Land Forme into its Sky Forme. It is yet unknown what role Shaymin plays in the story of Platinum. When the special Regigigas that is given out with a pre-order ticket for Giratina and the Bouqet of the Sky: Shaymin is traded from Diamond or Pearl to Platinum, it activates an event that makes Regice, Regirock, and Registeel available in Platinum.
Probably one of the most successful franchises on the Nintendo DS handheld console, the Pokemon franchise, will welcome a new member to the family and it will be called Pokemon Platinum. The news has been revealed in the latest issue of the Coro Coro Magazine and, even though most of the fans would’ve loved to get a brand new Pokemon game, Platinum will only be an expansion. Still better than nothing, right?
According to the magazine, the only facts confirmed officially are those regarding the name (Platinum, that is) and that it is an expansion, like Pokemon Yellow for the Red/Blue games. However, the rumored specifications of the expansion surely give fans a few reasons for joy, especially because it is said that The Underground will be Wi-Fi enabled. Also, we’ll probably see Giratina on the box when the game is released this September. A new area, called Battle Island, will be introduced and it will be similar to the Battle Frontier.
Also, fans will notice a few alterations in Gym leaders and Pokemon placement. For example, Volkner will no longer be the Gym leader of Sunyshore City, Giratina and Regigigas will get new forms which will allow them to get the Levitate ability, Shaymin will be at least partially Flying Type with its Another form, and a few new other forms will be introduced (Giratina – Origin Form, Regigigas - Ice Form). Pokemon Platinum is a sister game to Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, and is the third Generation IV main series game. It will take place in the Sinnoh region and the player’s starting location will be Twinleaf Town, just like Pokémon Diamond and Pearl. The game was first seen on May 11, 2008 when a low-resolution cell-phone picture of an upcoming issue of CoroCoro magazine was leaked around the Internet. On May 15, the magazine was officially released and the game was also officially confirmed by Nintendo. It is set for release date in Japan in Autumn 2008. In America it should be released in Spring 2009.
Shaymin one of the “event” Pokemon of the 4th generation is rather unique since it has two forms, the land form and the sky form. Each form is different in stats, type, and ability.
In Platinum, if you went to Floaroma Town you’d recieve a special item called the Gladicia’s Flower (JP. Name) You can change Shaymin’s forms with this.

Here is a Picture of Shaymin Sky Forme. It shows us that Sky Form can learn Air Slash, Leaf Storm (get it storm heh,heh)little joke there, and Quick Attack. It can learn quick attack and I’m quick with the puns. It also shows where you get the Glacidia Flower to transform Shaymin.
